Achieving a big goal is both VERY hard and VERY simple…

I was up at 3 o’clock this morning working through a personal goal problem.

I’m a former personal trainer who used to train women on how get strong and fit, a former trainer who used to train hard and heavy and had the muscle to back it up… and now I’m more out of shape than I’ve ever been.

And, at 3 am this morning, I was asking myself two questions:

1. How did I get HERE?

2. How do I get over THERE from way back HERE?

And, at 3 am, my intuition took a chuckle and responded very simply: “Success leaves clues. The steps are simple. Following through with the steps is hard.”

And then I was reminded WHY I’m not the fit personal trainer I once was: I’m not taking the daily consistent steps I did back then.

When I was fit, I had a routine and I stuck to it. I woke up at 4, got to the gym to lift by 5 am, came home, got my kids ready for school, dropped them off, and went back to the gym for a 9 am spin class.

I did not miss. I did not back down. I believed that the early am hours were my ONE window of opportunity to take care of my body and I backed that up with consistent DMA (Daily…
